- Sour Apple Schnapps22.5 ml / 0.76 US fl oz
- Simple Syrup
The original uses 5 ml rich syrup plus 5 ml lime cordial
10 ml / 0.34 US fl oz - Lime Juice7.5 ml / 0.25 US fl oz
- Lemon Juice5 ml / 0.17 US fl oz
US fl oz amounts are rounded; use ml for exact measures.
To garnishCherry, Apple slice
Make it
- Chill the Martini glass ahead of time.
- Add all the ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake for about 10 seconds.
- Fine-strain into the glass and garnish with a cherry or an apple slice.
Behind the drink
In July 1996, bartender Adam Karston at Lola's in West Hollywood mixed vodka with sour apple liqueur and called it the Adam's Apple Martini.
