A few clear notes about using Menulet and what a one-time purchase includes.

About Menulet
Menulet is an iPhone cocktail companion and website operated by Ziwei Liu. These terms describe our service and purchase features. The iPhone app is also licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, linked below. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are not limited by these notes. Free use and Menulet Plus
Menulet is free to download and contains no advertising. Free use includes two saved personal recipes. A new personal recipe or saved recipe variation counts toward this limit; ordinary drink journal entries do not. Menulet Plus unlocks the in-app alcohol-free collection and unlimited personal recipes. Other existing features remain available without this purchase.
One purchase, no subscription
Menulet Plus is a non-consumable, one-time in-app purchase. The US price is US$9.99; the Apple purchase sheet shows the applicable local price and taxes before confirmation. It does not renew automatically. The purchase unlocks the features described above for the lifetime of the app, rather than a recurring billing period. It does not promise that every future paid feature, a separate future app, or unlimited cloud processing will be included.
Purchases, restoration, and refunds
Apple processes the transaction and controls payment authentication and refund decisions. Restore Purchases in Menulet with the Apple Account used to buy it; an internet connection may be needed. Verified purchases are normally also recognized automatically. If Apple refunds or revokes the purchase, the paid features may become unavailable. Existing personal recipes remain viewable, editable, exportable, and deletable; we do not delete them when access changes. Request a refund through Apple’s Report a Problem service, linked below.
Your recipes and data
Your own recipes and notes remain yours. Export and back up important data before deleting the app or clearing its storage. iCloud synchronization depends on Apple and your account settings. This app does not guarantee recovery of deleted data. Our Privacy Policy explains storage, optional cloud recognition, and service records.
Recipes and responsible use
Menulet is intended for adults of legal drinking age (21 and older in the United States). Recipe quantities, estimated alcohol strength, ingredient details, substitutions, and image-recognition results may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check product labels, allergens, and recognition results yourself. Recipes are culinary information, not medical advice. Follow local laws and drink responsibly.
Availability and changes
Online features depend on network access and third-party services and may have usage or cost limits. We may update content and functionality for safety, compatibility, or service operation. We will describe material changes here and in the app where appropriate. Changes do not remove your mandatory consumer rights or retroactively change an already purchased entitlement without a lawful basis.
Content and acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its security, or upload content you lack permission to share. Menulet’s original artwork, app design, and software remain the property of their respective owners. Recipe sources and open-source credits are provided in the app and on the website. These terms do not replace the licenses attached to third-party material.
