China Blue

Lychee liqueur and grapefruit juice, tinted porcelain blue with blue curaçao.

Ingredients

  • Lychee Liqueur
    30 ml / 1.01 US fl oz
  • Blue Curaçao
    10 ml / 0.34 US fl oz
  • Grapefruit Juice
    45 ml / 1.52 US fl oz

US fl oz amounts are rounded; use ml for exact measures.

Make it

  1. Fill the glass with ice.
  2. Add the lychee liqueur, blue curaçao and grapefruit juice in that order, then stir gently.

Behind the drink

Said to have been created by a bartender in Toyama, Japan, it is named for the vivid blue of Jingdezhen porcelain.
