Two rums with banana and blackberry liqueurs over pineapple and lime: big, ripe fruit.

- Jamaican Rum
Aged Jamaican rum
30 ml / 1.01 US fl oz - Gold Rum30 ml / 1.01 US fl oz
- Crème de banane30 ml / 1.01 US fl oz
- Crème de Mûre15 ml / 0.51 US fl oz
- Pineapple Juice60 ml / 2.03 US fl oz
- Lime Juice30 ml / 1.01 US fl oz
- Grenadine10 ml / 0.34 US fl oz
US fl oz amounts are rounded; use ml for exact measures.
To garnishPineapple wedge, Cherry
Make it
- Fill a hurricane glass with crushed ice.
- Add all the ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake for about 10 seconds.
- Strain into the glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge and a cherry.
Behind the drink
The Holiday Isle Tiki Bar in the Florida Keys claims it as its own; the name nods to the liquor smugglers who worked out of the Keys in the early 1900s.
