Citron vodka with cranberry and lime: pink, sweet-tart and clean.

Ingredients

  • Citrus Vodka
    40 ml / 1.35 US fl oz
  • Triple Sec
    15 ml / 0.51 US fl oz
  • Lime Juice
    15 ml / 0.51 US fl oz
  • Cranberry Juice
    30 ml / 1.01 US fl oz

US fl oz amounts are rounded; use ml for exact measures.

Make it

  1. Chill the Martini glass ahead of time.
  2. Pour all ingredients into a shaker and fill with ice.
  3. Shake hard for 10 to 15 seconds until the shaker feels icy cold.
  4. Strain into the glass and express a lemon peel's oils over the drink for garnish.

Behind the drink

Appeared in the US in the 1980s, with disputed origins. It became popular in the 1990s and gained wider fame through frequent appearances in Sex and the City.
