Vampiro

Tequila, sangrita and grapefruit soda at 1:2:3: salty, tart and spicy all at once.

Ingredients

  • Salt

    For rimming the glass

    1 pinch
  • Lime

    For wetting the rim

    1 wedge
  • Tequila
    30 ml / 1.01 US fl oz
  • Sangrita
    60 ml / 2.03 US fl oz
  • Grapefruit Soda
    90 ml / 3.04 US fl ozto top up

US fl oz amounts are rounded; use ml for exact measures.

To garnishSalt rim, Lime wheel

Make it

  1. Rub a lime wedge around the rim, then dip the rim in a saucer of salt.
  2. Fill the glass with ice and add the tequila and sangrita.
  3. Top with grapefruit soda, stir and add a lime wheel.

Recipe reference

Uses Jungle Jim's 1:2:3 ratio with 30 ml per part; the original calls for bottled Mexican sangrita.
