Remember the Maine

Rye whiskey, sweet vermouth and cherry liqueur with a hint of absinthe.

Ingredients

  • Rye Whiskey
    60 ml / 2.03 US fl oz
  • Sweet Vermouth
    22.5 ml / 0.76 US fl oz
  • Cherry Liqueur
    15 ml / 0.51 US fl oz
  • Absinthe

    For rinsing the glass only

    7.5 ml / 0.25 US fl oz

US fl oz amounts are rounded; use ml for exact measures.

To garnishLemon twist

Make it

  1. Add a little absinthe to a chilled glass, swirl to coat the inside and discard the excess.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to a mixing glass and stir well with ice.
  3. Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
