Gin Fizz

Fine bubbles in sweet-tart lemon, like a refreshing grown-up lemonade.

Ingredients

  • Gin
    45 ml / 1.52 US fl oz
  • Lemon Juice
    30 ml / 1.01 US fl oz
  • Simple Syrup
    10 ml / 0.34 US fl oz
  • Soda Water
    30 ml / 1.01 US fl ozto top up

US fl oz amounts are rounded; use ml for exact measures.

Make it

  1. Chill the highball glass ahead of time.
  2. Pour gin, lemon juice and syrup into a shaker, fill with ice and shake hard for 10 to 12 seconds.
  3. Strain into the glass without ice.
  4. Add a little soda water and garnish with a lemon slice.
