Bourbon Renewal

Bourbon with lemon juice and crème de cassis

Ingredients

  • Bourbon
    60 ml / 2.03 US fl oz
  • Lemon Juice
    30 ml / 1.01 US fl oz
  • Crème de Cassis
    15 ml / 0.51 US fl oz
  • Simple Syrup
    15 ml / 0.51 US fl oz
  • Angostura Bitters
    1 dash

US fl oz amounts are rounded; use ml for exact measures.

Make it

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice until chilled.
  2. Strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with fresh ice cubes.
  3. Garnish with a lemon wedge, or fresh currants when in season.
