Basil Julep

Irish whiskey with basil and syrup

Ingredients

  • Irish Whiskey
    60 ml / 2.03 US fl oz
  • Simple Syrup
    7.5 ml / 0.25 US fl oz
  • Basil
    1 sprig

Make it

  1. Muddle the basil leaves with syrup in a julep cup.
  2. Add crushed ice and whiskey; stir until chilled and frosty.
  3. Top with more crushed ice.
